Many would wonder what exactly the Holy Grail is all about and how it links to King Arthur. In recent times, there has been no direct explanation of the Holy Grail, most people often give any meaning based on whatever they choose or prefer. However, in a holistic view, the Holy Grail refers to something valuable and difficult to find. For instance, discovering a red diamond – the precious stone – is difficult and it is also valuable. Hence, it can be regarded as the Holy Grail of diamonds or Jewels. Another typical example is the Carolina Reaper, which is considered globally as the hottest pepper that is hard to find and grow. It can be referred to as the Holy Grail of peppers.

Nevertheless, what is the origin of the Holy Grail? According to what the legends say, Jesus Christ sipped during the last supper from the chalice. This event occurred the night before one of his own betrayed him, grabbed, and crucified. Popular artist and philosopher Leonardo da Vinci even made a painting of Jesus among his disciples during this last supper. This painting is one of the most sought after in the world. Still based on the legends, the cup is still the same as the one used to collect the blood dripping down from Jesus’ body. However, the cup was misplaced when Joseph of Arimathea took it to England.

There are legends of the Holy Grail recorded in books and movies. Howbeit, it gained popularity during the era of the half-mythical King Arthur who lived over 1,500 years ago and his knights of the Round Table. The knights went on a quest to discover the Holy Grail after experiencing a trance. This collection contains detailed information on the legend of the Holy Grail quest of King Arthur and his knights.

Take a look at the sample pages taken from just some of these books in the collection.
